Lucky Night!

It certainly was my lucky night at guild last night; I won the blocks of the month drawing and the treasure basket! There were 16 Sister's Choice blocks and an additional yard of the focus fabric to make more blocks...I'm probably make four more blocks and add sashing between the blocks...one more project in the UFO pile! the treasure basket was a wonderful selection of eight batik fat quarters.
Tonight I'm layering Sharyn's purple and green quilt; she's been checking up on me, so I'd better get to it!

Sister's Choice is my favorite block! I'm making some scrappy ones with 4-patches in the middle instead of 9s, 'cause I have a lot of them lying around, and it still looks good!

You're welcome, and Madigan and the VA there are where our quilts go. The majority of the burn and spinal injuries come to the VA, and huge numbers of the wounded go to Madigan.

Prayers are all most us can offer, and making the quilts is a little concrete effort.

The more I look at those SC blocks, the more I like them!
